The Problem

"We need to create stand out with a slick and cool solution" was the brief from Brian Hopkins-Parkinson, Huel’s Head of Sales.

In a busy, transient environments such as Heathrow and London Waterloo station, Huel needed a vending solution that would not only make an impact but also uphold the companies design standards too.

The bold, modern styling of the Huel brand has been fundamental to its success and loyal following so it was imperative with their first foray into the world of vending that the design and customer experience was up to scratch. With the operational challenges that come with supplying services in airports, reliability was also crucial, ensuring both the machine uptime and relationship management with the onsite Heathrow team was maintained to the highest standard.

The finished design, combined with our integrated media platform that Huel used to inspire and educate customers about their product, enabled us to deliver a vending solution that surpassed their expectations. “Everyone loves the machines” Brian says, “we get so many people telling us they’ve seen them and how cool they look. It’s just not your usual vending machine, it’s the future of retail”.

Off the back of the successful launch of 25 machines, they’re now exploring further locations to place their Huel smart vending solution, enabling them to offer their awesome range of RTD’s to more hueligans throughout the globe. Watch this space.
